DECREASE in the price of fuel

Dear Bend Airport Fuel Customers:

Professional Air is happy to be reporting an actual DECREASEin the price of fuel, finally, this week.  During the first four months of this year, the cost of the fuel (Avgas) that your FBO pays for rose by $1.24 per gallon.  And during those four months, we raised our full-serve price from $4.99/gal to $5.89/gal (we absorbed 35 cents of the price increase during the four-month run-up).  Just recently, the first week of May, we were forced to send our full-serve price over $6/gal for the first time ever, when our supplier hit us with a whopping 24 cent increase.

Now our supplier has backed our cost down a whole 9 cents, and we have lowered our full-serve price under $6/gal once again.  We just wanted to give everyone some perspective on the battle to control the price of fuel here at the Bend Airport.  In many parts of the country, prices are well over $8/gal for Avgas.  We are hopeful that the recent decrease in our costs is an indicator of the top of the market, and that we won’t be seeing prices continue to go higher from here.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.  If you ever have questions, please don’t hesitate to call us!
